“We used RiSE to develop a relationship management system so our staff could keep track of the donors they were responsible for and the progression of interactions to get a donation. Before this system each fundraiser tracked donors in their own way. There was no consistency, and no way to see the big picture. We worked with ISG Solutions to build out a proof of concept for our annual donations, which we then implemented on our live site. I then created something similar for a specific fundraising campaign. Once we had it in place, the staff who embraced it became far more successful in their fundraising activities. “RiSE gave us a better way to handle online donations. Before, we had the ability to accept online donations that was secure but not as secure as it could have been, and the information didn’t go directly into iMIS. We wanted a secure system that would work directly with the database eliminating the extra labor of importing. We started with a fairly out-of-the-box iMIS implementation that used the default template just to get it up and running and make sure everything worked. Then we worked with ISG to develop the CSS and some of the other components to make it look just like our new website. It’s definitely been successful and well-utilized. We’ve seen an increase in online donations, and it is less work for our fundraising staff because all of the donations are processed directly through iMIS. There are no extra steps to import the online giving data into iMIS.”
