ISG Solutions Announces Version 1.1 of ISGweb for iMIS,
Adds New Administrator Module

Fifteen associations have acquired ISGweb

Rockville, MD (April 5, 2005)—ISG Solutions announced version 1.1 of ISGweb for iMIS, an 11-module software suite that allows associations to provide a wide variety of services to members over the Internet, including online directories, a buyers’ guide, event registration, and product sales. ISGweb offers seamless, real-time integration with the iMIS member database, so the association’s website displays member and product information that is accurate to the minute.

Version 1.1 includes a new Administrator module, which significantly reduces the amount of time it takes to modify ISGweb after the implementation is complete, as the association’s needs evolve. Changes such as adding a new question to an online membership application, which previously required a SQL programmer, can now be performed by a webmaster or ISGweb administrator.

Other new features include enhanced ability to manage members that are organizations, improved conference setup, committee home pages, chapter rosters, “find a professional” using MapQuest, and greater ability to manage relationships, contacts, and roles.

“ISGweb has been received enthusiastically by the association community,” said Phil Varady, vice president of ISG Solutions. “Association executives are delighted to see that there is a software package that fully integrates with iMIS and allows them to conduct business over the Web the way they want to.”

“ISGweb offered an economical way to provide a real e-commerce environment to our members, using live, up-to-date information from the iMIS database,” said Nicholas Croce, deputy executive director of the Door & Hardware Institute. “Before ISGweb, our members had to download forms and fax them back. Now we have secure online credit card payment. Our members can look at one place for the content, make their purchase decision, and close the deal right there.”

To date, fifteen associations have acquired ISGweb for iMIS:

  • Door & Hardware Institute (DHI)

  • Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE)

  • American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA)

  • Magazine Publishers of America (MPA)

  • National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA)

  • National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA)

  • American Therapeutic Recreation Association (ATRA)

  • National Apartment Association (NAA)

  • Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA)

  • Land Trust Alliance (LTA)

  • American Association of Museums (AAM)

  • National Business Aviation Association (NBAA)

  • American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB)

  • Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM)

  • Building Owners & Managers Association International (BOMA)

ISGweb is added to an existing website, seamlessly integrating the site in real time with the iMIS database. Forms, such as membership applications or meeting registrations, can be placed wherever they are needed and perfectly match the look and feel of the rest of the site. ISGweb uses the approved iMIS Business Objects tools from Advanced Solutions International, the developer of iMIS, so the association’s iMIS upgrade path is protected and data integrity is assured.

“ISGweb 1.1 reinforces ISG’s commitment to the iMIS community,” said Terrie Noonan, executive vice president of ISG Solutions. “In delivering products like ISGweb, we are able to help our clients make greater use of the data they have stored in iMIS and get the most out of their iMIS investment. The continued strong growth of our iMIS business allows us to remain one of the largest authorized iMIS solution providers.”

For associations that do not need all 11 modules of the complete ISGweb bundle, separate suites are available: Membership, Meetings, Directories, and Commerce.

Clients that have purchased ISGweb prior to May 1, 2005 will receive version 1.1 as a free software upgrade.
